Ghana international Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has officially joined Nottingham Forest Women, continuing her career in England’s Women’s Super League 2 (WSL 2).
The move follows her standout performance at the 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, where she played a key role in helping the Black Queens secure a bronze medal—Ghana’s best showing at the tournament since 2016. It was also Boye-Hlorkah’s debut appearance for the national team.
Born in England, the 29-year-old forward spent the last two seasons with London City Lionesses before her contract expired in mid-2025. Her switch to Nottingham Forest ensures she remains active in the WSL 2 as she continues to grow her club career.
Boye-Hlorkah previously featured in the top tier of English women’s football with stints at Everton and Aston Villa, gaining valuable experience at the highest level.
Reacting to her new chapter, she said:
“I’m excited to be here. The City Ground looks incredible—the pitch, the energy, the red everywhere. This league is competitive, and I’m ready for the challenge.”
Her arrival is expected to add firepower to Forest’s frontline as the club aims for promotion.
