The Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, led by Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, has called on religious leaders across Ghana to formally submit any prophecies or spiritual revelations of national significance for official review.
In a statement released on Sunday, August 10, 2025, Mr. Afriyie Ankrah emphasized that this directive specifically concerns prophecies related to high-profile political figures, governance, national security, and public stability.
The initiative, according to the statement, aims to promote responsibility, discernment, and accountability in the communication of spiritual insights that could impact national affairs—particularly during times of uncertainty.
The statement also requested fervent prayers for the President, government officials, state institutions, bereaved families, and the nation at large. This appeal follows a tragic accident involving government officials, military personnel, and executives from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Furthermore, the government reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with faith leaders to ensure the peace, unity, and continued prosperity of Ghana.
