Dr. Popoola, a medical doctor based in Jos, Plateau State, has shared a deeply personal account of the horrific attack in Eruku, Kwara State, where several of his relatives were directly affected.
The attack, which targeted churchgoers in the Eruku area, has left many in shock and grief. In a moving statement, Dr. Popoola revealed that two of his aunts and a cousin were kidnapped during the assault. His grandmother, seen in a distressing video struggling to flee from the attackers, was fortunately unharmed, but deeply shaken.
In his emotional plea, Dr. Popoola confirmed that several people lost their lives in the attack, though their identities have yet to be officially disclosed. He also described the brutality of the assailants, noting that many of the victims sustained severe injuries, underscoring the violent nature of the assault.
