Kwabena Agyei Agyapong Reveals Campaign Spending and Pledges to Prioritize Delegates' Interests

Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, one of the five contenders vying for the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer position, has disclosed the amount he spends on his campaigns in each constituency.

In a recent statement, Agyapong shared that he allocates approximately GHS 30,000 per constituency for his campaign efforts—an amount significantly lower than that of some of his competitors, who have reportedly spent up to GHS 400,000. While acknowledging the financial disparity between himself and other aspirants, Agyapong emphasized that his focus is on delivering tangible results and genuinely addressing the concerns of delegates, rather than relying on vast financial resources to secure support.

"I may not have the financial backing of others, but I believe I am the candidate that Ghanaians can trust the most," Agyapong said. "Having personally experienced discrimination within the party, I understand the struggles of our members, and if given the opportunity to lead, I will work tirelessly to improve their welfare."

Agyapong also expressed confidence in his ability to bring fresh leadership to both the party and the country. "I am a proven achiever, and when entrusted with power, I will not disappoint. Delegates should vote for the candidate who can deliver, not just the one with the deepest pockets."

His message resonated with his commitment to prioritizing the interests of delegates and addressing longstanding grievances within the party.
