NDC Extends Festive Greetings to Ghanaians, Reaffirms Commitment to Economic Recovery

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has conveyed its Christmas and New Year goodwill to Ghanaians both at home and abroad, while reiterating its commitment to delivering on the mandate entrusted to it.

In a statement signed by the party’s General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the NDC described the festive season as a period for reflection on values such as compassion, sacrifice, peace, and gratitude, which it said are fundamental to Ghana’s national life.

The party also noted that the season marks one year since Ghanaians entrusted it with the responsibility of governing the country. It stated that it fully acknowledges this mandate and remains focused on translating its vision into meaningful improvements in the lives of citizens.

According to the statement, the NDC government has, over the past year, taken deliberate measures to restore public confidence in governance, stabilise the economy, and lay a solid foundation for sustainable growth. These efforts, it said, have been guided by a strong emphasis on social protection, accountability, and inclusive development.

Looking ahead to the new year, the party reaffirmed its commitment to economic recovery, youth employment, stronger public institutions, and improved living standards for all Ghanaians.

“The party assures Ghanaians of its continued responsiveness, discipline, and results-oriented governance in the year ahead,” the statement said.

The NDC concluded by wishing all Ghanaians a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
