Tema-based Division Two side, True Life Academy, has pulled off the biggest upset of the 2025-2026 MTN FA Cup campaign by eliminating multiple-time winners, Accra Hearts of Oak.
What was expected to be a straightforward victory for the Ghana Premier League giants turned into a stunning 1-0 defeat for the Phobians at their own training facility in Pobiman. True Life Academy secured the shock win in the Round of 64 to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Robert Nartey scored the only goal of the match in the 64th minute, sealing the historic victory for the underdogs.
Reflecting on the monumental win, True Life Academy took to social media to express their pride:

Hearts of Oak, on the other hand, acknowledged the shock elimination with a somber post on their X (formerly Twitter) page, simply stating, "It is Finished."
Despite the setback, Hearts remain in sixth place in the Ghana Premier League standings and will face Karela United on Sunday, December 7, at 15:00 GMT.
True Life Academy will now look forward to their next match in the Round of 32 with confidence, after delivering one of the biggest surprises in FA Cup history.
