Breaking: Ebo Noah to be charged with false communication – Police confirm

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed that Ebo Noah, the self-proclaimed prophet, will be charged with false communication and causing public panic, following the viral content he posted that sparked widespread concern.

In a statement during the *Black Pot* show with Blakk Rasta, monitored by MyNewsGh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Seth Sewornu revealed that the suspect is currently in custody and will appear in court the following day.

“We will be sending him to court tomorrow,” DSP Sewornu confirmed.

Explaining the charges, he stated, “The charges are for false communication, intended to create fear and panic among the public.”

The police further confirmed that while in custody, Ebo Noah has remained calm and expressed regret for his actions. “He’s very calm, and he says he regrets what he did,” DSP Sewornu shared. However, he emphasized that regret alone would not change the seriousness of the situation.

The suspect has admitted that the viral content, which stirred panic among many, was intentionally fabricated. “He said he was just creating content,” DSP Sewornu added.

The police also noted that the situation had real-life repercussions, with some individuals acting on the false prophecy. As a result, the case is being treated with the utmost seriousness.

“He is locked up and will be in court tomorrow,” DSP Sewornu concluded.
