The Ghana Police Service has dismissed allegations that Ebo Noah is a prophet or religious figure, instead labeling him as a fraudster who created misleading content to deceive the public.
In a statement during an appearance on *Black Pot with Blakk Rasta*, DSP Seth Sewornu firmly stated, "He is not a man of God. He has no church, no religious affiliation, nothing."
The police clarified that the viral images and videos which falsely claimed the world would end on December 25, 2025, were deliberately misrepresented. According to DSP Sewornu, "The boat in the photos does not belong to him. He did not build any boat. It’s someone else’s boat. He simply stood by it and took pictures, editing them to make it appear as if it were his own."
Further investigation revealed that Ebo Noah works as a security guard at St. Cecilia School Complex in Madina. "He is a security man at a Sicilian school," DSP Sewornu confirmed.
Contrary to the claims of his supposed religious background, the police revealed that Noah has no formal training in religion and holds an academic qualification in marketing and purchasing and supply. "This year, he completed an HND in marketing and supply," DSP Sewornu added.
When questioned about Noah's mental health, the police officer clarified that Noah is of sound mind, stating, "He is fine. He’s not mentally disturbed—he is simply a fraudster."
The police also noted that the fabricated content had real-world consequences, including a person traveling from Liberia in an attempt to join the so-called "prophetic boat." The boat, however, belonged to a private company and had nothing to do with Noah’s claims.
“He just posed next to the boat and made the video,” DSP Sewornu concluded.
