Joyce Blessing Backs King Paluta for Artiste of the Year at the 26th TGMA

As the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) draws near, anticipation is building among fans, musicians, and industry professionals, all rallying behind their favorites in various categories. One prominent supporter is gospel artist Joyce Blessing, who has expressed her firm belief that King Paluta is deserving of the prestigious Artiste of the Year award.

In an appearance on Joy Prime’s Changes with Roselyn Felli, Joyce Blessing praised King Paluta for his dedication and achievements over the past year. She emphasized that many Ghanaians acknowledge his significant impact on the music scene. However, she also expressed some reservations about whether he would secure the win.

“Everyone knows King Paluta has worked hard and deserves the award, but with the way things are unfolding, we can’t be certain whether he will actually win because, in Ghana, anything can happen,” she shared candidly.

Joyce, who recently collaborated with the "Makoma" hitmaker on the song Correct, praised his exceptional talent and emphasized that his contributions should be celebrated. While she continues to show strong support for Paluta, she also mentioned that gospel group Team Eternity is another notable contender. She suggested that if Paluta does not clinch the award, Team Eternity would be a worthy recipient for their efforts and hard work.

The competition for this year's Artiste of the Year title is fierce, with other notable nominees including Kweku Smoke, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, King Promise, and Black Sherif.

In a motion filed by his legal team, Ofori-Atta argues that the OSP's actions violate the principles of administrative justice, specifically the right to a fair process and the protection of his personal dignity.
