American rapper Azealia Banks has leveled serious accusations against former UFC champion Conor McGregor, alleging sexual harassment and sharing what she claims are unsolicited explicit messages sent by him via social media.
On July 14, Banks posted a series of screenshots online, purportedly showing McGregor sending her sexually suggestive images and threatening language through direct messages. In a tweet that has since been deleted, Banks described the messages as unsolicited and disturbing.
One widely circulated image allegedly shows McGregor posing nude while lifting a dumbbell, captioned “Lifting weights,” along with a threatening note: “Don’t be a rat ‘cause all rats get.”
Banks, 34, also took the opportunity to criticize McGregor’s reported political ambitions, mocking his recent remarks about possibly running for president of Ireland. “Honey… aren’t you trying to be the president of Ireland? What is it giving, fam?” she wrote in a post.
