Outspoken Ghanaian media personality Kevin Taylor has taken to social media to celebrate what he describes as a series of personal victories over his critics. In a recent Facebook post spotted by GhPage, Taylor stated that despite challenges and threats, he has fulfilled all the daring tasks skeptics set for him.
Taylor revealed that critics—especially some affiliated with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and those he referred to as “tribal bigots”—doubted his courage to return to Ghana. He asserted that not only did he return, but he also moved freely without hiding, contrary to what his detractors had expected.
The media commentator explained that following his arrival in Ghana, new challenges were issued. According to him, opponents claimed he wouldn't dare step foot in Kumasi due to controversial remarks he had previously made about the Asantehene (the Ashanti King). Several individuals allegedly threatened him with consequences should he visit the Ashanti Region.
In response, Taylor said, "You said I couldn’t come to Kumasi—I went. You said I couldn’t walk freely—I did, with my wife, children, and close friends."
Having proven his doubters wrong at every turn, Kevin Taylor ended his post with a bold statement:
“I need a new challenge.”
His defiant tone and continued public presence suggest that he has no intention of backing down from political and social criticism anytime soon.
