A Ghanaian clergyman, Apostle Kofi Amponsah, has linked the recent military helicopter crash in Obuasi to the imprisonment of Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, popularly known as Nana Agradaa or Evangelist Tupac.
In an interview on Ezra FM, Apostle Amponsah claimed that Nana Agradaa, a former traditional priestess who has since converted to Christianity, is being spiritually tormented while in prison. According to him, her cries to God from behind bars triggered a divine reaction, which he believes manifested as the tragic helicopter incident.
The apostle asserted that the crash is just the beginning of a series of misfortunes that will befall the nation if the government fails to release her. He strongly urged Ghanaian authorities to act swiftly and free Nana Agradaa to prevent further disasters.
Apostle Amponsah did not provide any empirical evidence to support his claims but maintained that the spiritual consequences of ignoring his warning could be dire.
His comments follow widespread media coverage of a recent Ghana Armed Forces helicopter crash in Obuasi, reportedly involving the Minister for Defence. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Nana Agradaa has been in and out of the news in recent years, transitioning from a controversial spiritualist to a self-proclaimed evangelist, with multiple legal challenges surrounding her activities.
