The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has lost its polling station chairman for Ninkyiso in Assin Breku following a tragic motorbike accident that occurred on Friday, November 14, 2025.

The incident happened while the party official was attending a campaign event in support of Bryan Acheampong, a flagbearer hopeful of the party.

The deceased, identified as Yahya, was riding a motorbike alongside the constituency’s Nasara Coordinator, Vilinke Mohammed, when their bike was reportedly hit by another speeding motorbike. Both men were immediately rushed to St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu for emergency treatment.
