Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Jonina Ladies, and Three Other Teams Maintain Unbeaten Run in WPL

Ampem Darkoa Ladies, last season’s finalists, have continued their strong start to the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Ghana Women’s Premier League (WPL) season.

The defending champions remain one of five clubs that are still unbeaten after three rounds of matches.

In their latest game, Emmanuel Sarkodie’s side secured a convincing 3-0 away victory over Northern Ladies. Linda Owusu Ansah opened the scoring, while Ajegpina Zakaria netted a brace to complete the win.

FC Savannah, another unbeaten team, claimed a 1-0 win over Tamale Super Ladies. Yakubu Sakina's second-half goal was enough to give them the three points.

Prisons Ladies, also without a loss this season, were held to a 1-1 draw by Kumasi Sports Academy. Comfort Amankwah and Linda Sarpong were on target for their respective teams.

Elsewhere, Dreamz Ladies secured a 2-1 away win over Fosu Royal Ladies, with Sarah Nyarko among the scorers. Ashtown Ladies and Northern City Ladies played out a 1-1 draw in their matchup.

In the Southern Zone, Jonina Ladies continued their unbeaten run with a goalless draw against Epiphany Warriors.

Army Ladies made it three wins from three with a narrow 1-0 victory over Samartex Ladies, thanks to a goal from Adama Alhassan.

Hasaacas Ladies ended their two-game winless streak with a late 1-0 victory over LadyStrikers in Takoradi. Anita Kwarteng’s penalty secured all three points for the Hasaacas.
