Dr. Bryan Acheampong has confidently asserted that he is leading the pack in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential race, claiming that his internal data shows he is far ahead of his competitors.
In an interview on *PM Express*, Acheampong revealed that his campaign has carried out extensive profiling of party delegates nationwide, saying, “We’ve done military precision profiling of the delegates, and we’ve successfully profiled 190,000 out of the 209,000 delegates.”
When asked for the results of this exercise, he was unequivocal: “We are miles ahead. I’m way, way, way ahead,” he said, emphasizing his lead over other candidates.
He dismissed any doubts about his position, attributing his confidence to direct engagement with party delegates. “I’ve been in contact with 200,000 of the 209,000 delegates we profiled—190,000 people,” he clarified, underscoring the depth of his outreach.
Looking toward the upcoming NPP presidential primary on January 31, 2026, Acheampong remained defiant in his outlook. “The elections of January 31, 2026, will not change the results,” he declared confidently. “I will win. Nothing will change that.”
Acheampong added that his remarks were intended to set expectations for his victory. “I’m saying this now so that no one will be surprised when I win,” he concluded.
