Mama Juliet Refutes Claims of Misappropriating Donations Meant for Osanju’s Father, Agya K

Ghanaian content creator Mama Juliet has publicly denied allegations that she misappropriated funds raised to support the late Agya K, father of popular TikToker Osanju.

The accusations were made by Osanju’s elder sister, Abena Boatemaa, following Agya K’s death on December 27, 2025, at the Koforidua Government Hospital. In response, Mama Juliet—who was Osanju’s landlady and close associate before his death—described the claims as false and damaging, warning that she would reveal evidence to clear her name if the accusations persisted.

Osanju passed away on September 1, 2025, after a sudden illness. In the months following his death, Mama Juliet developed a close bond with his father and frequently featured him in comedy videos shared on social media. Due to Agya K’s frail health, several Ghanaian content creators, including US-based TikToker Naana Donkor Arthur, organized fundraising efforts to support his medical care, with Mama Juliet acting as coordinator.

After Agya K’s passing, Abena Boatemaa alleged in a viral TikTok video that Mama Juliet squandered the donated funds. She claimed that her father suffered severe emotional distress and high blood pressure after learning that the money meant to support him had allegedly been misused, suggesting this contributed to his death.

In a separate trending video, Mama Juliet categorically denied the allegations. She stated that she never embezzled any funds and instead outlined the various ways she supported Agya K during his illness. She further accused Abena Boatemaa of spreading falsehoods online and claimed to possess audio recordings of their private conversations that contradict the accusations.

According to Mama Juliet, she has so far refrained from releasing any evidence out of respect for Osanju, Agya K, and other family members. However, she cautioned that she would not hesitate to defend herself fully if the accusations against her continued.

Meanwhile, images and videos showing Agya K’s final moments in hospital have circulated on social media, prompting an outpouring of sympathy from Ghanaians. The passing of Agya K marked the end of a difficult year for the Frimpong family, which had earlier lost Osanju’s mother, Veronica Frimpong—popularly known as Amonu—in January 2025.

The dispute has sparked widespread debate online, with many calling for calm and transparency as the family mourns its losses.
