Osofo Kyiri Abosom: "Love is Not My Language" – A Different View on Relationships

Osofo Kyiri Abosom has dismissed the concept of mutual or reciprocated love in relationships, describing the traditional idea of a man loving a woman as unnecessary and often misunderstood.

During a recent appearance on a TV programme, he questioned the definition of love, asking, "What love is he talking about? What’s he talking about?" when discussing emotional care in relationships.

According to Kyiri Abosom, his relationship with women is based on appreciation rather than emotional bonding. "You cannot love a woman, but you can like them, you can appreciate them," he stated, clarifying that his affection is tied to actions and usefulness rather than emotions. "I like the woman because of things within that woman. She does something for me, and I like you," he added, citing examples of how people help him with tasks or personal items.

When the idea of mutual love was suggested, he firmly disagreed. "I cherish you, that is why you love me. The love must come from you," he said.

Pressed further to define love in his own terms, Kyiri Abosom closed the conversation with a blunt statement: "The word love is not my language."

His remarks have sparked a range of reactions, with many questioning his views on marriage, emotional support, and the role of affection in relationships.
