"You Cannot Love a Woman, You Can Only Support Her" – Osofo Kyiri Abosom's Take on Relationships

Christian Kwabena Andrews, known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has rejected the notion of romantic love from a man towards a woman. The religious leader emphasized that his role is not to love a woman, but rather to support her materially.

During a recent TV program, he stated, "There’s no need for me to love a woman. All I do is support her," explaining that the responsibility of affection and respect should come from the woman, not the man. "She must love me and respect me. I need the love from her, but not me," he said.

When asked whether this view applied to polygamy, Kyiri Abosom clarified that love is not a requirement on his part. “I believe in love, but the love comes from the woman, not from me," he explained.

He further argued that women typically express love based on what a man provides. "A woman will love me because of the things I do for her. I clothe you, I give you everything,” he added.

Kyiri Abosom also revealed his preference for his wives not to work, stating, “I prefer that all my women will not work. They will stay at home or do what I ask them to do,” highlighting that his sense of responsibility is based on provision rather than emotional attachment.

His comments have sparked widespread discussion, with many questioning his views on marriage, gender roles, and emotional connections in relationships.
