Pastor Chris Okafor Responds to Allegations from Doris Ogala, Calls for Legal Process

Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry (also known as Liberation City), has broken his silence regarding the ongoing controversy involving Nollywood actress Doris Ogala. In his statement, Okafor emphasized that the matter is now under investigation by the authorities and should be handled through legal channels, not public disputes.

Okafor, responding to the allegations, stressed the importance of evidence and due process, indicating that he would refrain from further commenting on the issue while investigations are still ongoing.

“Everything you say must be proven in the court of law. We are not silent; we are praying and taking the right steps to follow the legal process. The truth will eventually come out,” he said.

The pastor confirmed that law enforcement agencies are already handling the situation, which limits his ability to disclose more details publicly.

“Since the authorities are involved, I cannot reveal much at this point. You will be surprised by the people involved. I’ve received reports, and you will be shocked when you learn who is behind this,” Okafor added.

He also cautioned against responding prematurely, stating that doing so could hinder the investigations and judicial processes. "He who alleges must provide proof," he said. "There are things that do not require a response."

This development follows a series of allegations made by Doris Ogala, who took to social media and gave multiple interviews, accusing Pastor Okafor of having an alleged romantic relationship with her prior to her arrest. Ogala framed her claims as part of a spiritual awakening and personal confession, stating that she was led by divine guidance to reveal the truth.

“I wanted revenge. God gave it to me on a platter. God led me to expose this man. I confessed the sins I committed with him,” Ogala said in a video shared online.

The actress went on to claim that Okafor had plans to marry another woman under controversial circumstances, suggesting that she had evidence to back her allegations.

“Are you guys aware that he was supposed to marry someone in 2024? I will post the chart. The girl even sent me his naked video,” Ogala stated.

As the legal proceedings unfold, both parties remain in the spotlight, with the authorities expected to determine the truth of the accusations through the proper channels.
