A woman who recently went viral following a public altercation with popular Nigerian TikToker and streamer, Peller, has broken her silence and shared her version of events.
The incident, which occurred at an eatery, sparked widespread reactions online after a video surfaced showing Peller angrily confronting the woman and questioning her level of education. Reports initially claimed that the woman had described him as “noisy” and “illiterate,” accusations that allegedly triggered his outburst.
Woman Describes Incident as “Bizarre”
The woman, identified on Instagram as @nomaodigie, described the encounter as one of the most bizarre experiences she has ever had. According to her, Peller was speaking very loudly while seated near her, prompting her to quietly move away without engaging him.
She explained that this simple action appeared to provoke his reaction, leading to the confrontation captured in the now-viral video.
Denies Allegations, Accuses Peller of Fabrication
In a post that has since gained significant traction online, the woman firmly denied insulting or provoking the streamer. She accused Peller of fabricating statements to justify his behaviour, stressing that she never referred to him as illiterate or irritating.
Describing his conduct as inappropriate and unnecessary, she maintained that she did nothing to warrant such a response.
“The entire reaction was unwarranted and disproportionate to what happened. I’m glad there were eyewitnesses who kept telling me to ignore him,” she wrote.
Background on Peller’s Recent Controversies
The incident adds to a series of controversies surrounding Peller in recent months. In December 2025, the streamer was involved in a car crash along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos while livestreaming. The accident reportedly followed an alleged relationship dispute with fellow content creator Jarvis, after which Peller was hospitalised.
Following the crash, Peller appealed to his fans for financial assistance to repair his damaged Mercedes-Benz SUV, with repair costs estimated at ₦11 million.
As reactions continue to trail the eatery confrontation, many social media users have called for accountability and restraint from public figures, particularly when dealing with private citizens in public spaces.
