Politics Must Produce Real Results – Prof. Opoku-Agyemang

Vice President of Ghana, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has emphasized the importance of politics delivering tangible results for citizens.

Speaking at the 2025 African Political Parties Summit in Accra, where she represented the President, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang criticized political rhetoric that lacks substance.

“The theme, ‘From Politics to Prosperity: Strengthening Inter-Party Collaboration for Africa’s Development and Economic Transformation’, reminds us that politics must deliver concrete outcomes—not empty rhetoric.”

She urged African leaders to prioritize unity and development over partisanship.

“We must rise above narrow interests, safeguard electoral integrity, protect long-term development plans, and work together across borders to address the continent’s pressing challenges,” she added.
