In a recent video, Shortingo, a supporter of Dr. Bawumia, voiced her concerns about the Black Stars' performance in their football match against Chad. According to Shortingo, the NDC government should be held accountable for the team's disappointing result in this match.
She highlighted that during the tenure of former President Akufo-Addo, Ghana triumphed over Chad with an impressive 5-0 scoreline, attributing the victory to the leadership and governance of the former administration.
However, Shortingo expressed disappointment that the same team, with the same players, failed to secure a win against Chad in the recent game. She remarked that if the Black Stars cannot manage a victory over a team like Chad, their future in international football looks bleak, suggesting that teams like Mali could easily defeat them.
"Under Akufo-Addo’s leadership, the Black Stars dominated Chad with a 5-0 victory," Shortingo said. "But now, with the same players, we could not even win. If this continues, teams like Mali will outplay us."
This statement has sparked a wave of conversations across social media, with many reflecting on the current state of Ghana's national football team.
