Vice President Jane Opoku-Agyemang Urges Compassion and Unity in Christmas Message


 


In her Christmas message, Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has called on Ghanaians to reflect on the values of compassion, unity, and service to the nation, as the country continues its efforts to reset and rebuild.


The Vice President emphasized that the Christmas season is an opportunity to remember the deeper meaning behind the birth of Christ and to extend our support to those in need. "May this sacred season remind us of the profound gifts of hope, peace, love, and compassion that the Saviour brought to humanity," she said.


She urged citizens to place kindness and generosity at the heart of their celebrations, especially towards the most vulnerable members of society. "In this spirit, let us reach out to the vulnerable, share with those in need, and extend kindness to one another," Opoku-Agyemang added.


The Vice President also highlighted the connection between the Christmas message and national progress, stressing the importance of harmony and service as Ghana works towards its development goals. "As we continue the important work of resetting and building the Ghana we all want, may the light of Christmas inspire us to greater service, harmony, and progress," she said.


Concluding her message, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang wished all Ghanaians a joyful festive season and a prosperous New Year, signing off with a heartfelt "Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year."
