Controversial Ghanaian relationship counsellor, Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, has once again ignited public debate after issuing a dire prediction concerning rapper Medikal and his girlfriend, pop singer Eazzy.
Lutterodt cautioned Medikal against marrying Eazzy, warning that such a union would not endure. His comments come shortly after the couple welcomed their first child together in October 2025. The prediction has attracted widespread attention, particularly because the counsellor was recently praised for accurately forecasting the collapse of actress Nana Ama McBrown’s marriage years before it became public.
Medikal, born Samuel Adu Frimpong, and Eazzy, born Mildred Ashong, announced the birth of their child on October 17, 2025. The rapper shared the news on Instagram, posting a series of photos and videos from the hospital. One image showed him seated on a hospital bed holding the newborn, while other clips captured tender moments as he cradled the baby.
“Welcome to Planet Earth, @space_frimpong. Daddy loves you, son,” Medikal wrote in the caption, revealing the child’s name.
The couple’s relationship became a subject of speculation following Medikal’s divorce from actress Fella Makafui. Although rumours circulated for months, Medikal publicly confirmed his relationship with Eazzy in July 2025 and openly discussed the possibility of remarrying.
However, in a video aired on Adom TV and shared on social media on January 6, 2026, Counsellor Lutterodt issued a stern warning. According to him, Medikal has not completed certain undisclosed steps necessary after the breakdown of his first marriage.
“I have heard that Medikal and Eazzy have welcomed a child together. I want to warn him that if he marries her, the marriage will not last,” Lutterodt said. “There are things he is supposed to do after his first marriage failed, and he has not done them. If he chooses to date her and have children, that is his decision. But the moment he marries her, the relationship will be destroyed.”
The counsellor declined to elaborate on the specific actions he believes Medikal must take, instead urging the rapper to contact him privately.
The prophecy has sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users dismissing it as sensationalism, while others point to Lutterodt’s past predictions as reason for concern.
Despite the controversy, Medikal has continued to share joyful moments of fatherhood. In a recent video, the rapper was seen singing softly to his son, Space, while rocking him to sleep—a clip that drew admiration from fans who praised his affectionate and hands-on parenting.
As public debate continues, neither Medikal nor Eazzy has responded directly to Counsellor Lutterodt’s comments.
