Prophet Boahen Uche’s 2025 Prophecy Gains Attention Following Ayawaso East MP Nasser’s Death

A prophecy delivered by Prophet Eric Boahen Uche regarding the Ghanaian Parliament has resurfaced following the passing of Mahama Nasser Toure, the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, on January 4, 2026.

In a video shared in late December 2025, the popular clergyman predicted that two parliamentary seats would become vacant in 2026. Prophet Uche’s prophecy has since generated significant discussion on social media, eliciting mixed reactions among Ghanaians.

Death of Mahama Nasser Toure

The late Nasser, affectionately known as Mac Naza, passed away after a brief illness while receiving treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. His death was confirmed on Sunday, January 4, 2026, by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and members of his family.

Ayawaso North MP Yussif Jajah expressed condolences, praising Nasser’s dedicated service to his constituency. Following his death, NDC members and sympathizers visited the late MP’s residence to support his grieving family. The Parliament of Ghana also paid tribute to Nasser and extended condolences to his loved ones via their official Facebook page.

In line with Islamic tradition, a Janazah prayer was scheduled for Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ayawaso East constituency office along Kanda Highway. The National Chief Imam led the prayer, after which Nasser was laid to rest at the Madina Cemetery.

Prophet Eric Boahen Uche’s 2025 Prophecy

On December 31, 2025, Prophet Uche warned Ghanaians to pray for the safety and well-being of parliamentarians. In his vision, he foresaw two parliamentary seats becoming vacant in 2026. He further stated that he had spiritually protected six MPs with whom he had close ties and urged relatives and supporters of other legislators to pray for their safety.

The founder of Reign House Chapel International added that the deaths of the two MPs would necessitate separate by-elections in the affected constituencies to fill the vacant seats.

Public Reaction

The resurfacing of Prophet Uche’s prophecy has sparked discussion online. Social media users expressed a range of opinions, from skepticism to belief in the prophet’s spiritual insight. While some questioned the authenticity of such prophecies, others urged prayers for peace and stability.

Earlier, Prophet Uche also predicted that Israel would establish a military base in Nigeria in 2026. This claim reportedly aligned with statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding security cooperation with the United States, further fueling debate about the prophet’s foresight.
