Dr. Boris Baidoo, CEO of Boris B, has shared that his family is deeply involved in animal-related ventures, humorously noting that his household could one day be renamed "Mmoa Villa" due to its strong focus on animal farming.
In an interview on Angel FM, the businessman revealed that all of his children are pursuing paths related to animal farming and agribusiness. One of his sons is studying Business Finance at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), while his daughter is studying Veterinary Medicine.
He also mentioned that although one of his children has expressed interest in becoming a lawyer, he believes the child may eventually find a way into animal rearing—perhaps even defending animals in court.
Baidoo explained that this focus on animal farming is part of a strategic plan for succession in his business. He stressed that proper succession planning is crucial for the sustainability of any business, especially in Ghana, where many enterprises have collapsed after the founder’s death due to the lack of clear successors.
“I am training my children to take over from me,” Baidoo emphasized. He believes that by preparing his children to continue the family business, they will be able to preserve the legacy and growth of the company long after he is gone.
He also encouraged other business owners to take intentional steps in preparing their children as successors, ensuring that their hard work and legacy are carried forward.
