Shatta Wale's Performance Described as "Otherworldly" by Gayobi Achaawa at GTCO Concert

Former *Ghana's Most Beautiful* contestant and media personality Gayobi Achaawa Sackey has shared her unforgettable experience attending the GTBank-sponsored GTCO Music Concert 2025, calling Shatta Wale’s performance “otherworldly.”

In a candid conversation with *MyNewsGh*, Achaawa, who was attending her first-ever concert, described the atmosphere as electrifying, especially when Shatta Wale’s name was announced. She recalled how the police struggled to control the excited crowd, with the energy reaching a fever pitch.

“When Shatta Wale’s name was announced, the crowd went wild. The police couldn’t control the excitement. It was as if everyone there was possessed by his energy,” Achaawa shared. “I saw a girl singing along to Shatta’s song, and she suddenly collapsed after shouting. It was intense.”

Achaawa further detailed the marathon-like nature of Shatta Wale's performance, which stretched into the early morning hours. She marveled at how, despite the long duration, the crowd remained fully engaged, even as daylight approached.

“I’ve always wondered how Shatta Wale can perform for hours, from night till morning, and still have so much energy,” she said. “I stayed until the end, and it was truly an experience to remember.”

She also expressed her admiration for the dancehall artist’s charisma and how the audience viewed him as something more than human.

“When Shatta Wale comes on stage, it’s as if he’s not even human—he’s like a demigod to his fans. I don’t know if Shatta Wale fully understands the depth of love his fans have for him,” Achaawa said.

Adding more vivid details to the performance, she recalled Shatta Wale’s outfit changes throughout the night.

“He came on stage fully dressed, with a hijab on his head, but by the end of the performance, he was half-naked. It was wild,” she laughed.

Despite the exhaustion from the long night and the responsibilities she had the next day, Achaawa couldn’t help but acknowledge the unforgettable experience.

“Wale, I’m getting ready to go to work now, but that was something I’ll never forget,” she concluded.
