The Ghana Ministry of Finance has officially relocated its offices from the Ministries area in Accra to Kanda, with full operations scheduled to commence at the new location on Monday, February 9, 2026.
In a press release issued on Thursday, February 6, 2026, the Ministry explained that the relocation is part of broader efforts to enhance operational efficiency, improve coordination, and strengthen responsiveness in carrying out its mandate.
“The Ministry of Finance wishes to inform the general public that it has officially relocated its offices to Kanda, Accra,” the statement said. “This move forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance the Ministry’s efficiency and service delivery.”
Clarification on the New Facility
The Ministry clarified that the office complex at Kanda was not constructed by the current administration. According to the statement, the facility was built by the Ghana Revenue Authority before the present government assumed office.
Official Business to Continue at New Location
The Ministry noted that all official correspondence, visits, and inquiries should now be directed to the new premises, although existing telephone numbers remain unchanged.
The new physical address of the Ministry of Finance is Tumu Avenue, Kanda, Accra, with the digital address GV-002-6511. However, its postal address remains P.O. Box MB 40, Ministries, Accra, Ghana.
The Ministry expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their continued cooperation as it works to improve public service delivery from its new location.
