The High Court has reduced the prison sentence of social media personality Nana Agradaa from 15 years to one year after reviewing an earlier judgment it described as excessive.
The decision was delivered on February 5, 2026, following an appeal against Agradaa’s original conviction and sentence. In its ruling, the court held that the initial punishment was unduly harsh and warranted a downward review.
As a result, Nana Agradaa is expected to return home after completing 12 months in prison custody.
The full ruling from the appeal court has been made publicly available for download.
