"Total Existence" at Stake: Trump Threatens Iran With Complete Military Annihilation Amid Shattered Ceasefire

The fragile, highly unpopular war ceasefire between Washington and Tehran has effectively collapsed into a dangerous game of brinkmanship. In a series of dramatic military escalations, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) launched heavy airstrikes inside Iran, targeting drone storage, air defense networks, and naval infrastructure. The operation followed an Iranian strike on a commercial cargo vessel navigating the hyper-critical Strait of Hormuz shipping corridor.

The political drama peaked early Sunday when President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to issue a staggering ultimatum. Trump warned that the U.S. is rapidly losing patience and could soon be forced to "militarily complete the job," adding a chilling caveat: "If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!"

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) immediately retaliated by launching missiles at eight U.S. military sites across Kuwait and Bahrain. While U.S. officials report no major casualties, the IRGC has explicitly threatened to freeze all active diplomatic peace negotiations if American aggression continues. Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance confidently downplayed the threat, publicly asserting that the U.S. holds all the cards and will win "either way."
