"‘I’m On My Knees!’: TikToker Pretty Lady Sobs, Begs Empress Gifty for Mercy After Arrest [Video]"

 

The mood shifted from internet bravado to raw reality yesterday as popular TikToker Bernice Appiah, aka Pretty Lady, was seen in a viral video kneeling and crying uncontrollably at the Police Headquarters.

Pretty Lady was picked up by the Ghana Police Service following a formal complaint lodged by Hopeson Adorye, the husband of gospel musician Empress Gifty. The drama stems from defamatory comments Pretty Lady made about Empress Gifty back in 2022.

In the emotional clip, a sobbing Pretty Lady was seen holding Hopeson Adorye’s leg, pleading for forgiveness. "I am Bernice Appiah. Whatever I said about Empress Gifty in 2022 was false information from a wrong source," she tearfully confessed. "Your husband said if you forgive me, he will forgive me. Please, forgive me."
