In a rare moment of humbling honesty, Dancehall King Shatta Wale has admitted that Ghanaian stars are playing catch-up when it comes to the luxury lifestyle. Speaking on the New Afrobeats Podcast, Shatta revealed that the flashy private jet culture was inspired by their Nigerian counterparts .

While jokingly asking Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid to "slow down," Shatta Wale showed love to them for elevating the standards of African music. "We learned that from our Nigerian brothers. They’re killing us," he confessed .
