Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan has officially stepped back from the explosive family drama surrounding music icons P-Square, following intense pressure from netizens and fellow celebrities alike.
The controversial influencer, who had been vocal about the ongoing rift between Peter Okoye, Paul Okoye, and their elder brother Jude Okoye, recently announced his withdrawal after facing a wave of criticism for his involvement in the delicate matter.
The backlash intensified when Peter Okoye presented evidence related to the dispute, which quickly shifted public opinion and drew support from numerous Nigerian and international stars. Liberian actor Frank Artus was among those who publicly called out VeryDarkMan, urging him to "stay off Okoye’s family."
VDM Sets the Record Straight
In a candid video shared via his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan clarified his position while officially bowing out of the saga. He admitted that while he had initially leaned into the discourse, he now sees the situation with more balanced eyes.
"I just want to make one point about this P-Square thing," he stated. "I see a lot of people saying, 'VDM, you are sounding as if Jude did not have a fault in all of this.' Well, personally, after listening to both Jude and Peter, if you ask me who to put the blame on, I will say 40 percent on Jude, 30 percent on Peter, and another 30 percent on the wife, the family, and everybody involved."
Addressing the criticism directed at him, he remained unbothered yet resolute. "To the people insulting me, it is not a crime. You can insult people. Now there is balance in views in the P-Square matter," he added.
A New Focus Ahead
Signaling a decisive shift in priorities, VeryDarkMan revealed that he is redirecting his energy toward a more pressing legal matter—his upcoming appearance before a police panel regarding his allegations against AIG Jimoh Moshood.
With that, the activist made it clear: his chapter in the Okoye family feud is officially closed, leaving fans and critics alike to wonder what will happen next in the ongoing P-Square saga—now without his commentary steering the narrative.
