A tragic incident unfolded during the enskinment ceremony of the new Naa Gamu of the Ga-Muslim community in Nungua West when she was reportedly shot by an unidentified individual. The ceremony, which marked her official outdooring, took a devastating turn last Saturday when the incident occurred.

Despite being quickly rushed to the hospital, the newly installed leader unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. Witnesses have stated that the shots were fired from a nearby location, with two gunshots reportedly heard during the traditional procession.

The entire community has been left in shock and mourning as they grapple with this senseless tragedy. Authorities from the Nungua Police Station have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible for this devastating act.
