Ghanaian Musician and Doctor S3nti Discusses Balancing His Dual Careers

Ghanaian musician and medical professional S3nti has shared insights into how he manages his dual careers, which often intersect in surprising ways. During a recent interview on Hitz FM, S3nti recalled an amusing experience in the medical emergency unit when a patient recognized him from an Instagram Live session.

“There was a time I was in the emergency unit, and someone approached me saying, ‘I know you! I saw you on Instagram Live yesterday!’” S3nti shared. He expressed how such encounters reinforce his belief that his music is gaining visibility and impact. “It makes me happy because it means people are noticing my work,” he added.

S3nti, whose musical style is a blend of Afro-Fusion, emphasized his desire not to be restricted to one genre. Drawing influence from a variety of sounds, including Soul, R&B, and Highlife, he incorporates them into his music. “I’ve been exposed to different sounds, and I mix them to create something unique,” he explained.

In terms of balancing his demanding schedule, S3nti revealed that he often records music during late nights or early mornings. “I don’t sleep much. Sometimes my shows end at 2 or 3 a.m., and I still have to report to work the next day. But I love both my careers, so I make it work,” he said.
