Trump’s Surprise Shout-Out to Jake Paul Sparks Buzz at Kentucky Rally

President Donald Trump drew attention at a rally in Northern Kentucky on March 11 after giving an unexpected shout-out to Ohio-born boxer and internet personality Jake Paul, who was in attendance at the event.

Speaking before supporters at Verst Logistics in Hebron, Kentucky, Trump briefly referenced Paul while discussing economic investment in the United States. Early in his remarks, Trump highlighted the scale of financial commitments he says are flowing into the country.

“We’ve got $18 trillion, and Jake Paul knows what that means—$18 trillion!” Trump told the crowd, prompting reactions from rallygoers as the YouTuber-turned-professional boxer looked on from the audience.

Paul, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, rose to prominence through social media and later as a Disney Channel actor before transitioning into a career in professional boxing. Over the years, he has built a large online following and has increasingly stepped into public conversations around politics and culture.

The rally was part of Trump’s broader visit to the Greater Cincinnati region on March 11. During the trip, the former president also stopped at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Reading, Ohio. According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the visit aimed to highlight economic issues and provide Trump an opportunity to meet with business leaders and lawmakers he admires.

Trump used the events to emphasize his economic message, focusing on investment, job creation, and support for American businesses. The appearance in Kentucky drew supporters from across the region and added another high-profile stop to the day’s schedule.

Paul’s presence at the rally did not go unnoticed. In the past, the social media star publicly expressed support for Trump. During the 2024 election cycle, Paul encouraged his audience to vote for Trump, noting that he personally could not participate in the presidential election because he lives in Puerto Rico.

The brief moment linking politics and internet celebrity quickly circulated online, adding another headline-grabbing moment to Trump’s campaign-style appearances.
