The speculation, which spread rapidly online on April 4, claimed the president had been admitted to Walter Reed Medical Center for undisclosed health concerns.
Responding swiftly, the administration dismissed the claims as inaccurate. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung stated that the president had been actively working throughout the weekend, maintaining a full schedule inside the White House and Oval Office. He emphasized that there had been no disruption to Trump’s official duties.
The rumors appear to have originated from unverified posts suggesting unusual activity around Walter Reed Medical Center, including alleged road closures and restricted airspace. However, these reports were not substantiated by any official sources, further weakening their credibility.
The White House also addressed the situation through its rapid response channels, criticizing the spread of misinformation and attributing the claims to political speculation. Officials reiterated that the president remained in good health and fully engaged in his responsibilities.
