Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, rose to fame alongside Migos and has remained a major figure in hip-hop. He was previously married to Cardi B, with whom he shares three children.
The incident also revives painful memories for fans, following the 2022 killing of fellow Migos member Takeoff in a separate shooting.
