A young Ghanaian businesswoman, Maame Efua, has publicly recounted her alleged encounter with Russian national Vyacheslav Trahov at Accra Mall, stating that she rejected his advances despite what she described as persistent attempts to engage her.

Maame Efua, who operates a clothing shop in Tudu in the Greater Accra Region, shared her experience in a video circulating on social media. According to her, she visited the Accra Mall after work to purchase ice cream when the encounter occurred.

She alleged that Trahov approached her as she was leaving the mall and requested to speak with her. After briefly listening to him, she said he asked for her phone number, which she declined to provide.

“I refused to give him my number and walked away,” she recounted. “He followed me and said he had met other Ghanaian ladies who were more accommodating than me. I still ignored him.”

Maame Efua further claimed that the situation escalated when he allegedly offered to show her where he lived in the Spintex area to gain her trust and persuade her to share her contact details. She stated that she found his persistence uncomfortable.

“I dislike pressure, and at that point, he was annoying me. I told him clearly that I was not interested,” she said.

According to her account, she had ordered a ride and entered the vehicle once it arrived. She alleged that Trahov followed her to the car and continued requesting her number even as she prepared to leave. She also claimed that the driver questioned why she was not being more receptive to the foreign national.

Social Media Reactions

The video sparked widespread discussion online, with many users commending her for standing her ground. Some commenters shared similar experiences, particularly involving encounters at shopping malls, while others expressed relief that she left the situation safely.

However, a few social media users urged caution, suggesting that both sides of the story should be heard before drawing conclusions.

The incident comes amid ongoing public conversations surrounding videos allegedly featuring Trahov and his interactions with Ghanaian women, which have generated significant attention and debate across social media platforms.
