Prophet ElBernard Announces Temporary Withdrawal from Public Prophecy and Ministry

Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun has announced a temporary withdrawal from public prophetic declarations and pulpit ministry following his recent apology over an inaccurate prophecy concerning the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primaries.

In a statement released to the public, the prophet explained that his decision is rooted in humility and accountability. He noted that, after reflecting on the prophetic declarations he made about the NPP primaries, he has chosen to take a deliberate pause from issuing public prophecies, particularly those related to national and political matters.

“Following my recent public apology, I have decided to take a short and intentional pause from making public prophetic declarations,” he stated.

As part of this decision, Prophet ElBernard also revealed that he will step back for a season from public teaching, preaching, and pulpit ministry. He described the move as voluntary and necessary to allow time for reflection, prayer, counsel, and a renewed focus on accountability in how prophetic revelations are received, interpreted, and communicated.

Despite the pause, the prophet emphasized that he is not abandoning his calling or ministry altogether. He assured followers that he remains committed to personal prayer, study, and quiet pastoral responsibilities while working to realign himself in growth, integrity, and discernment.

“I am not stepping away from my calling or from ministry entirely,” he clarified.

He concluded by expressing appreciation for the trust and support of those he serves, adding that he does not take that trust lightly. Prophet ElBernard appealed for prayers, patience, and understanding from the public during this period of reflection.
