The U.S. Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) announced the extradition in a statement shared on social media, highlighting its successful cooperation with Ghanaian authorities. Boateng is accused of heading a sophisticated criminal network that defrauded American victims through romance and inheritance scams. “Diplomatic Security Service special agents at the U.S. Embassy in Ghana worked with Ghanaian authorities to assist the FBI in the extradition of Joseph Badu Boateng, also known as Dada Joe Remix,” the DSS stated.
