"Any Fool Can Go to Court" – Okatakyie Afrifa Fires Back at Sammy Gyamfi Over Lawsuit


 

Ghanaian political commentator and media personality Okatakyie Afrifa has responded to Sammy Gyamfi's recent lawsuit against Afia Schwarzenegger, calling it unnecessary and politically motivated.

Speaking on his show For The Records, Afrifa threw his full support behind Afia Schwarzenegger, who has come under fire for her recent comments directed at the NDC’s National Communications Officer. According to Afrifa, Afia did nothing wrong and was merely giving Gyamfi a taste of his own medicine.

“Afia shouldn’t be afraid. Let her keep insulting them,” Afrifa stated, defending her outspoken style.

Afrifa, known for his affiliation with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), argued that Sammy Gyamfi had previously made damaging statements about Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 general elections. He claimed Gyamfi had no right to act like a victim now.

He quoted NDC General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia, saying:

“Any fool can go to court.”

Afrifa believes the lawsuit is a distraction and a form of political hypocrisy.
