Young Don Issues Public Apology to Otumfuo, Mahama, Ajagurajah, and Ghanaians After Life-Altering Experience

Controversial US-based Ghanaian social commentator Young Don has publicly apologized to several prominent Ghanaian figures and the wider public following a serious accident that he says changed his life.

In a video posted to his official TikTok account, Young Don revealed that the incident led to a period of deep personal reflection and what he described as a spiritual awakening. He acknowledged past comments that were disrespectful toward key figures such as Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, former President John Dramani Mahama, and spiritual leader Bishop Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah.

“I’ve already apologized to God, and He directed me to extend that apology to Ghanaians—especially those I insulted without cause, including Otumfuo, the President, and others,” he said in the video.

Young Don explained that he felt spiritually compelled to make peace with those he had wronged, and that he is now committed to living a purpose-driven life aligned with divine instruction.

In a notable shift, he expressed newfound respect for Ajagurajah—his former rival in a long-standing public feud—now referring to him as an “elder brother,” signaling what appears to be a sincere change of heart.

“The Creator of heaven and earth has called me to do His work, and part of that mission involves publicly apologizing,” he added.

As part of his commitment to this new path, Young Don announced plans to return to Ghana from the United States. He appealed to the Ghanaian public for forgiveness and support as he embarks on what he calls a renewed spiritual journey.

The apology has stirred mixed reactions online, with some praising his humility while others remain skeptical about the sudden transformation.
