The family of renowned Highlife legend Daddy Lumba has officially confirmed his passing and shared an update regarding funeral preparations.

In a touching statement, the family remembered Daddy Lumba not just as a musician but as a national treasure whose music touched countless lives.

“Daddy Lumba was more than a performer—he was a cultural icon. His heartfelt lyrics and soulful voice told our love stories, expressed our hopes, and gave voice to our struggles,” the statement said.
