Jazz Legend Chuck Mangione Passes Away at 84


 


The world of music is mourning the loss of Grammy-winning jazz icon Chuck Mangione, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 24, 2025, at his home in Rochester, New York. He was 84 years old.

Mangione rose to international fame with his timeless hit “Feels So Good,” a smooth jazz classic that became a global sensation and cemented his legacy in music history. Over the course of his career, he earned two Grammy Awards and received 14 nominations, becoming a beloved figure in the jazz community.

Following news of his death, tributes have poured in from fans, fellow musicians, and industry leaders around the world, honoring his contributions to music and celebrating his life’s work.
