Kumasi, Ghana – The Ghana Police Service has declared a manhunt for a company driver, Kwadwo Antwi, who is accused of absconding with GHC 1,200,000.00 in company funds.
An arrest warrant was issued by the Kumasi Circuit Court after Antwi allegedly failed to deliver the funds to business partners on behalf of his superiors in Kumasi. The act is in contravention of Section 124(1) of the Criminal Offences Act, which addresses offenses related to theft.
According to a police statement, all efforts to contact or locate Antwi have so far been unsuccessful. Authorities believe he may be hiding in the Western North Region, specifically in the Sefwi Asawinso area.
The public is encouraged to provide any information that may lead to his arrest.
