Controversial Nigerian artist, Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, better known as Portable, has firmly rejected a boxing challenge from fellow musician Speed Darlington, deeming him an unworthy opponent. In a recent video, Portable expressed his disinterest in engaging in a fight with the rapper, suggesting that Darlington was merely using the challenge as a marketing stunt for his upcoming show in April.
In his usual candid style, Portable remarked that Speed Darlington was "no match" for him. Instead, he set his sights on a much bigger target — British-Nigerian boxing champion, Anthony Joshua. The outspoken artist boldly demanded a hefty sum of N100 million for the opportunity to face Joshua in the ring.
Further emphasizing his position, Portable confidently declared that he holds greater star power in the music industry compared to Darlington, making the challenge less appealing to him.
The controversy began when Speed Darlington publicly issued the challenge to Portable and outlined specific conditions for his participation in an upcoming show. However, Portable swiftly dismissed the proposition, igniting further conversation among fans.
