Elmina Police Declare Prophet Ebo Noah Wanted After Foreign National Travels to Ghana Following Viral Prophecy

Police in Elmina, Ghana, have officially declared self-styled prophet Ebo Noah wanted after a Liberian citizen traveled to Ghana, following Noah's viral prophecy about a global flood. The prophecy, which circulated widely on social media, predicted a worldwide deluge, urging followers to seek safety aboard an "ark" that would supposedly be located in either Elmina or Takoradi.

According to sources within the Elmina Police Department, the Elmina District Commander, Chief Superintendent Abraham Bansah, initiated an investigation into Noah's whereabouts on December 18, 2025. Police Assistant Superintendents Lawrence Anane and Augustina Quainoo led the operation, but despite their efforts, Ebo Noah remains elusive, and his location remains unknown.

Authorities visited the homes of Noah's parents and interrogated several neighbors who were familiar with his activities and social media presence. However, they were unable to gather any substantial information about his current whereabouts.

The police investigation intensified after a significant development on December 25, 2025. At approximately 7:40 p.m., a radio presenter from Benya FM, Sofo Blessing, arrived at the Elmina District Police Headquarters with a man named Paul Telly Jalloh, a Liberian citizen. Jalloh, who had traveled to Ghana based on Noah's prophecy, reported that he had journeyed from Liberia after learning about the impending flood through social media posts and news outlets such as CNN and the BBC.

Jalloh claimed that Noah's prophecy indicated the flood would take place on December 25 and that the only way to survive would be to join Noah’s ark, which Jalloh believed to be located in Elmina or Takoradi. Jalloh initially traveled to Takoradi, then to Accra and Cape Coast, before ultimately arriving at Elmina Beach in search of the ark. Upon arrival, he discovered that no such ark existed.

Further inquiries revealed that while Ebo Noah is a native of Elmina, local residents have disputed claims that he is a prophet or owns any form of "ark." Jalloh's testimony was crucial in piecing together the narrative of the viral prophecy and the confusion it caused among some followers.

Following Jalloh's interview, the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Immigration Department was notified, and immigration officials have begun preparing for Jalloh’s repatriation to Liberia. He remains in police custody as the necessary arrangements are made for his return.

The police investigation into the whereabouts of Ebo Noah and the legitimacy of his prophecy is ongoing. Chief Inspector Jonas Solee is leading the investigation, and further updates are expected as the situation develops.
