The one-week memorial for the late Ghanaian highlife icon, Nana Kwaku Duah, popularly known as Dada KD, has been officially announced.
The ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the East Legon Executive Club House in Accra. The event will commence at 7:00 a.m., bringing together family, friends, colleagues, and fans to pay tribute to the beloved musician.
Born in 1971, Dada KD passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 54. According to close sources, he had reported feeling unwell shortly before his passing.
Dada KD was renowned for his soulful voice and romantic melodies, playing a significant role in the evolution of modern highlife music. His distinctive fusion of emotion and traditional rhythms earned him a lasting legacy in Ghana and beyond.
