A 28-year-old nurse, Gifty Kyere, has tragically lost her life while reportedly staying at her boyfriend’s residence, despite her family believing she was at school.
According to emerging details, Gifty’s parents were unaware that she had been living with her boyfriend, Edmond Ayemah. He initially claimed her death was due to an asthma attack, but that explanation has since been questioned.
Investigations reveal that Edmond allegedly attempted to terminate Gifty’s pregnancy through unsafe means, which may have led to her death. He is also reported to have told authorities that he couldn’t take her to the hospital because he lacked the funds.
Gifty’s father confirmed that she had visited home a few days earlier to collect school fees and personal belongings. She told the family she was returning to school, but instead, she went to stay with Edmond.
